My name is Jane Byrne and I am a qualified Chartered Accountant & Chartered Tax Consultant. I trained in Grant Thornton for four years where I focused on tax compliance and planning and gained invaluable experience from one of the leading tax departments in Ireland. I mainly worked with sole traders, partnerships and SMEs gaining an in-depth insight into how to service the client in the modern ever changing financial environment we now face.
Once qualified in both accounting and tax I went to Australia where I worked in an Irish/Australian accounting firm where I managed an office in Emerald & Brisbane in Queensland. Again tax planning and helping SMEs manage cash flow and providing a supportive service to clients was my main focus.
On my return to Ireland, I obtained my practicing certificate and teamed up with my father, Hugh Byrne, who has practiced in Tullamore for 40 years. Together we provide our clients with vast amounts of experience and knowledge in tax & accounting along with a modern approach of being able to offer cloud based accounting services which aids in focusing on cash management within the business and provides instant access to figures for internal reviews/cash management & bank renews.
We have developed a niche market in servicing clients in the medical profession. We act as advisors to medical consultants and General Medical Practitioners and have significant experience in advising on the management of medical practices.
Over the last number of years, we have gained significant practical experience in dealing with the farming community providing top class advice on retirement planning. We also advise farmers on incorporation, VAT registrations and registering as employers.
Even the most compliant tax payer can be selected for Revenue audit. Should this ever arise we have the necessary expertise to advise on same.
